Praise for Aurora & Antheia

“I am writing this note as an impassioned attendee of the Tendrils collaboration between Wellspring/Cori Terry and Dancers and Aurora and Antheia. I am deeply grateful that we have you – talented and skillful composers, choreographers, musicians, dancers, and artists – within our own community! What a gifted embodiment and celebration of the human spirit! I was so moved by Friday’s performance that I had to return Saturday – and I was equally as inspired.

The themes within the music and movement – those of nature, the world around us, our connection and ofttimes disconnection to it and to our own inner selves – presented the perfect alchemy for touching the hearts, minds, and spirits of all in attendance. It was palpable! You offered us such a gift. That of bringing the highest caliber talent together to bring “voice” to a critical issue of our time – the heightened experience possible through the beauty available in our world and the frightening disconnection that so many have from it (outwardly and inwardly). This collaboration presented an awe-filled opportunity for us to have the heightened experience.

My deep hope is that Tendrils will be seen by many more in our community. An encore is needed! I would definitely attend! I know many people who wanted to be there but were not available this past weekend. And if there is any way for the show to be taken on tour to other Michigan cities, all the better! The world needs this kind of uplifting artistry and message. How wonderful that we have the talented souls right here within our own community who came together to create and blend such a powerful and moving experience.

I am deeply grateful to each of you and to those not listed who offered their talents to make this happen. Thank you!”
